How do you get in touch with them?! I've checked their "website" which seems terribly out of date, emailed the address listed on the website (to no avail) and tried to search for their ebay account which seems to not be valid anymore either.

RE: Looking for a restored (but with 552 movement) 165.024 on omega mesh, possibly as a trade for my 16610 (+cash).

Any help would be awesome. Thanks everyone!

It's my understanding that they completely sold out of whatever Omega stock they had remaining. I got one of the last 552s offered on eBay; they then pulled the rest for a group buy on another forum.

I don't blame you for wanting one; I love mine and the fact that all of the parts, including the movement in my case, were "NOS" parts.

Well thats a bummer. 🙁 Given the prices they were at (3k-3.5k I believe) they're a steal- basically a brand new watch.

Looks like my hunt just got a little tougher. 🙁

I'm actually following a few of those auctions- is that their new ebay account?

Yes, used it myself not so long ago.

That's who I bought mine from. I paid $4400, which is a snotpile, but I wear it nearly every day and it has a NOS caliber 552 in it....

I just spoke to Rob.

If you're an Aussie resident with an Aussie eBay address you can't see abouttime-ch which is watchco's current eBay shop.

Maybe you can create another account with a US address?

Any interweb geeks know what the trick is?

Ended up finding a watchco no-date SM300 to trade for my 16610 + some cash from the (now previous) SM300 owner! Thanks all! 😁

Glad that worked out. I have two. Date and non. Great watches. Enjoy!
Will do- I'll have to start a new thread with some photos with my 145.022 😁

No, I just walked into Watchco and picked it up. Price for the watch and bracelet was very reasonable at $1900 AUD, so minus $300 for the bracelet, my SM300 worked out at $1600 AUD (or about $1250 USD).

Of course that was nearly two years ago, but the prices now make my eyes water.

Oh god. I'm not sure if I should go in the corner, curl up into a ball and cry, or be really happy the person I'm trading with made out like a bandit! Talk about eyes watering 😵‍💫🙁

I paid about $2400 for my SM300 from watchco in mid 2012. It included the mesh bracelet and was all new parts except obviously the movement which is mint condition and they had serviced.

It felt like a lot at the time but not by todays numbers

Man. You guys made out like bandits. Jealous! I remember seeing a few watchco ones a few months back and hesitantly passing on a few- talk about regrets.

So everything that's still showing on their website is infact out of stock? I've been toying with the idea of a baby PloProf so guess I left it too late.

I paid the same for my SM300 from Watchco in March 2013, about $2400 AUD, or $2100 USD at the time. I got mine on the bracelet, but wish I had got the mesh instead... I never use the bracelet.

I did put it on a Wjean28 bracelet. Very comfy.
