Same losers are putting out phishing emails, they pretend to be us but they’re not from the correct Omegaforums address and are trying to steal your username and password. Only type your username and password if you’ve typed omegaforums.net in the address bar yourself, and please enable TFA.

Yeah, I got something like this. I just ignored it as when I went to to my PM Inbox, there was no message. To confirm my suspicion, I searched for the sales thread and, of course, found nothing

As a rule, I never click on the links in these types of email, no matter where they come from. I always use the same bookmark to get to the required website and then navigate to where I need to go.

Also had a "Shishy" Message few days ago, but Mods where quicker than i was deleting the Message from my Inbox 👍 well done!

Although i thought i have seen it all, didnt stop me from falling for another scam few days ago 🤦 luckily was only a moderate amount of 200,-EUR, but it sucks anyways..
What is worse, i even paid through PayPal, but what i missed was that the Sellers account didnt have the possibility of paying using PayPal protection, so it only offered transfer using "Friends" option. i was a bit confused, but thought that PayPal just changed the interface, pressed "Send" and realised that i am in trouble.. 🙁
Actually the first time that i really needed PayPal protection, i realised i had no.. Had i used the direct transfer, i could have stoped it, but with PayPal it didnt work.. this is probably the last time i was using PayPal..

So keep your eyes open, this a-holes are everywhere...
