I have a spare SS caseback for a 166.065 in very good condition.

It may fit but size would need to be checked.

Stupid question, although probably a no-no, do they sell aftermarket see-through backs for these vintage pieces?

To interchange lids between watches can be tricky, even if they have the same exact reference. It's not for sure they will fit good.

My advice is to buy a complete spare case, if you really have to have a new lid. To be sure to succeed. The exchanged case you can sell, and get some of your outlay in return.

You know were there are a complete case to be found, if you really need it. ;)

Cool thanks! I was just curious...

My first adventure is going to be buying a genuine omega crystal since apparently the one on the watch is aftermarket. Although i do plan on bringing it to a professional once i find one..
