Interesting watch. Cool to see how parking meters and 3 minute intervals for phone call billing influenced watch design of that era.

Yes if I wanted that one I would not be quibbling over offers less than 450, while someone else grabbed it. :D

Reminds me of the parking memovox from JLC. Interesting.

Gone 2 hours ago, as it should be. I'm feeling a little tinge of regret... hope it went to a good home. Hmmm... was it Gavin? :cautious:

Was it that obvious?::confused2:: Was telling myself to stay focused and this happens. Is this one of you ploy Marc?:cautious:
I know I will get a JLC parking memovox someday so this looks like a sensible purchase. Am I fooling myself here?
But I have to thank you for enabling this. And who knows, you may be enabling another soon.:whistling:

Keep hands and feet (and nice vintage watches) away from the aperture!

The beautiful thing about rationalizations is that they always work!

Not quite as good as your infamous axiom about watch money, but still quotable.

Good snag Gavin. I posted it as an exercise in restraint, but I was really thinking about going back and getting it if no one bit. Looking forward to some pics.

p.s. Dibs on the next Cricket Nautical that pops up. :)
