Should I be concerned about the power reserve? This will certainly not be a daily watch, at least I do not see strapping it on for very long periods of time. A friend who is letting his MUT Moon go says that he wishes it had 60-80 hrs power reserve.

One of the joys of owning a watch with complications is setting it and getting it running. You could get yourself a winder. The best source of power is your wrist. Power reserve is hardly the criteria I’d use for determining what fine watch is on my wrist.

I've been curious about JLC for some years now, but have always felt they made watches that were too dressy for me (at least for my current phase in life). But every year or so, I do like to swing into a boutique to have a look at the watches that have always held my interest. Having given up on the Reverso (the only one that seems to fit me well is the Gyrotourbillon 4 🙁), I am now more focused on someday pulling the trigger on the Master Ultra Thin.

Since I'd never tried one on for size before, I thought why not now? After an hour spent in the boutique, I walked away still trying to consider between MUT Moon or MUT Small Seconds...

MUT Moon or MUT Small Seconds?

More affordable in steel:

WG is beautiful too, especially that grey dial...

Reverso isn't too bad I think... but I don't know if I will always like the shape...

SA brought this one out for me to look-see as well. Luckily, look-see is free!

I own the Master Ultra Thin Moon (silver dial). It is pure class and the level of finishing is astonishing. How many watches have you seen with a JL shaped rotor in pink gold? It’s also incredibly accurate with an average deviation of .2 (that’s point two) seconds per day. Amazing watch.
