    Hi everyone

Today I was invited at a cocktail in Omega Champs Elysée store. It was the occasion to be personnaly welcomed by a young lady seller who Knew the collection very well, to have a few glasses of champagne and petits fours, and of course try on everything possible during 2 hours. I made a few pictures. Pardon me for the quality, it was in the basement and the light was rather poor.

Awesome photos! That is a very cool event. Globemaster looks beautiful! These live shots of GM look so much better than Omega marketing shots. Also digging grey titanium PO. Thanks for sharing!

Nice photos, thanks for sharing. It's good to see the new models on bracelets. I have only seen the new moonphase on strap before.

    thanks guys,

I especially liked the globemaster with white dial and the more classical seamaster black with orange figures. The full black speedy is awsome too ; so bad it's not a 1861 inside. Trying a 150 000 euros tourbillon was quite cool too.
I'm a bit skeptical about the titanium ploprof. Not for the titanium (bracelet is made of titanium too) but for the transparent caseback that is weird on a deep diving watch. Nonsense for me but marketting, you know...
the mirror titanium finish on the semaster is amazing.
Note the dial on the sm300 rio. the pattern represents the pedestrians' walk on Rio beach.

    cheers

What a cool day for you! I love the opportunity to explore the entire range of the new collection ... it truly includes the good, the bad and the ugly (pace Sergio Leone). Of course, we may all disagree on which watches fit into which category ... but that's why Omega makes them.

    Thanks for posting this!

They are marvels, aren't they? I was at the OB near my house and that rust colored Ploprof and black PO are excellent. The WG PO with diamonds and Seahorse with the sapphire eye is spectacular.

yes, that was quite a good oppprtunity. When Omega invited us ( a mate and I) I thought that it was just a kind of commercial event and that I would be packed with people. Actually we two were receivend by a very kind girl with an exotic est europeean accent. we went to a kind a private space in the basement and she really took two hours just for us.
@flw, yes there's some really good ans some that I disllike, some aesthetic and technical choices taht I don't understand. Nonetheless it was cool to try everything.
@Spy, there are marvels indeed. The older I get, the more sobber I like. The titanium ploprof is quite a thing. It would have been better with the classic striped back IMO. The Tourbillon is impressing!
EDIT : Can we open a bet on how long it will take before they do a new vintage SM300 1965? I'd say 2017 ;)
Sh... I forgot to shoot the meteorite ceragold one...

This is what made me an Omega fan-- something for everyone. Tourbillons, austere dress watches, gigantic divers, iconic speedy...

Thanks for posting up these photos, that would be a very fun experience.

Question: How did the new POs and moon phase fit and feel on the wrist? Bulky and cumbersome or comfortable presence ect?

Thanks for sharing. This just again leaves me disappointed with Omega's latest offering.
