·This is a special watch. It was made by Zenith for Cairelli for the Italian Air Force. It was created in the mid 1960s. There were a limited number of these created, 2500 in total. The case is 43mm not counting the crown.
This watch is a fantastic example of why to buy vintage chronographs. It has a great presence on the wrist.
This watch is in fantastic shape, as you can see from the pictures. There are scratches on the acrylic crystal, and a little on the cases. The watch face is pristine. This specific watch was not issued to a pilot.
The movement is a Zenith 146DP Mechanical Chronograph. As you can see it’s beautiful and in good shape.
I do not know its service history. A watchmaker examined it in 2017 and said it did not need a service.
I'm asking $12000 US OBRO.
