Very interesting - especially the divergence between the pristine "buy at any cost" pieces and the increasing numbers of tarted up average watches. Personally, I always try to focus on the "best and horniest quality" in my watches
As Mike and the rest of us always say - condition, condition, condition. The heavy hitters want the best and are willing to pay through the nose for mint specimens.
