Hey, all. I'm having to sell those that I never wear, so here goes my very cool and groovy early 70's Tissot Seastar TV dial.

Besides the blue dial which changes its look depending on light, the angular steel hour indices (affectionately referred to as a miniature 'Stonehenge' by our own @STANDY 😁) add a nice vibe.

The movement, an automatic cal 2481, is one that was shared with Omega at the time of production. It features a quick-set date that is activated by punching the crown in from position 1 (occasionally, this requires a real 'thumb-punch'). Position 2 sets the time per usual. This watch was supposedly serviced just before I bought it about 18 months ago, and all features work well, although time-keeping indicates at least the need for a regulation because it is running a bit fast. Currently, about +20s/d.

Case, the signed crown, and the crystal are in very good to excellent shape. There is one long scratch on the caseback, and other smaller scratches seen here and there. Please look closely at the pictures, as they are part of the watch's description.

Case dimensions: 37mm across w/o crown, 42mm length, 20mm lug width.

Included, is the shiny blue strap seen in the photos.

Price: $350 inclusive of CONUS shipping and PayPal for OF members. Otherwise, I'll accept wire, FTF in Atlanta, or any method approved by me where buyer pays fees. Buyer has 3 days inspection, after which they may return the watch in original condition at their cost if unhappy. After 3 days, all sales are final. Please PM me here for purchase, or for any questions you may have.

The first 7 photos are the previous owners pics. Feel free to ask for additional pics if you need them.

Thanks for looking!

I doubt anyone can show a better watch for under $400?

Including delivery?

And PayPal?

Lovely

I added a pic at the end that shows the otherwise elusive micro-gash and scratch along the 9-o-clock edge of the case. The case is certainly in VG to excellent condition, and the mini-Stonehenge on the dial is indeed quite mesmerizing...😀

Thanks for the entertaining comments this morning, gents!

BTW, time-keeping on this one makes me wonder what type of 'service' the watch had under previous ownership 🙄... it's gaining 60-90s/day right now. Edit: I was able to do a minor regulation moments ago, and it now runs ~ +20s/day.

I'm still recommending a service, or at least a check and professional regulation if it becomes regularly worn by the new owner.
