I really need that book :)
This clears up so much for me. Mostly. All my research on the 3592.50 and almost no reference to the ref # 345.0808.
Interesting my omega box sticker shows rg203 3592.50 4834209X (toward end of run). From 1997. The page states that technically from the year being past 96 mine should be pic 3572.50. Must have been overlap. I have read elsewhere that 3592.50s went through 1995 before 3572.50s took over. I have also heard that some early 3572.50s had tritium. Using up existing parts I assume.
    Thank you for posting this.

You might need to wait, but keep an eye on the FS forum.

True, the difficult part is that I need an Europe seller, import taxes from the USA are 21%..

There are ways around that with private sales, but I won't go there.........

Keep checking the FS section of the forum. Patience is key. Endless folks quickly come and go here looking for a "quick buy". It took me over 2 years to learn my tastes and finally pull the trigger on the Speedy for me.

I got a 2998-1, but only in good condition. I had to save up for over a month!

You are a lucky man. Why did you wait for two years when finance is clearly not the problem?

I'm just messing with you, I got a 145.0022. It just took me a while to learn about what I was looking for.

I wish I was that rich! Plus, if i had a watch with 10s of thousands of dollars, I am not sure I'd ever be able to enjoy it since I would never wear it. That's just me though.

There are very good sellers on the forum who deal a lot. Get to know them and feel comfortable dealing with them.

There are similar forums with more European participants, and lots of Speedmasters sold there. I've had luck with https://uhrforum.de/. Good hunting.

There are plenty of EU based members of this forum. I've bought and sold quite a few from within Europe.

    Recently purchased a ‘91 Speedmaster 145.022 for only $3500
4000 euro sound high to me, no expert though.
