·I'm looking to buy a nice 2194-1 so am reluctantly selling a couple of watches from my personal collection.
Here's a very attractive and original Speedmaster Professional 145.022-74; Calibre 861 with serial 39.180.*** (correct range for the ref.) with steel bracelet 1171/633.
The correct, original dial is a stunner. Beautifully aged tritium markers and in perfect condition.
Hands are also in excellent condition and still retain their original tritium which has aged to a lovely colour, slightly lighter than the dial markers.
The case and case back are, I believe, unpolished and as such do have quite a few marks. Personally I like these signs of age, especially on a watch I'm going to wear, but if you prefer it perfect there is plenty of meat on the case should you desire a refinish.
The correct B2 bezel is in lovely condition, only a mark over the 'T' and a couple of small edge dings.
Correct A3 crown is still present.
Correct A2 crystal is still present, some scratches that could be polished out.
Correct, original pushers.
Correct original anti-mag dust cover.
Movement looks clean and un-butchered. Currently working well in all functions although last service is unknown and no guarantee of any sort is offered.
Correct original bracelet and end links are in very nice condition, still showing original brushed finish and the clasp snaps shut securely. Some light marks to the buckle cover.
All in all a very attractive and original Speedy that is a real pleasure to own and use. Examples of this quality, that haven't been messed around with, don't come up for sale every day.
Asking £3950 with the bracelet, or £3600 on leather racing strap seen in one photo. U.K. delivery included or add £35 for worldwide DHL.
Many thanks.
