new SM300...finally took some images that better show off the patina

Very nice, full of character with just the perfect amount of aging to the dial and bezel. 😀

Hi all,

Any sm300 lover out there?

I'm new to omega, but when I strap this on there's an instant love😀

Ok, so I know I've created a Franken, but when I bought it, the hands were incorrect anyway - now it just has nicer wrong hands. Typically found on the 1st Gen SM300, but technically possible on a Gen 2 (but not one this late). Anyway it's better than it was, and I like it. Tiny bit of lume is missing unfortunately... Here it is with it's newly arrived Watchco son.

I'm a bit late replying to this one (posted in March) but a few did get out of the factory with the handset you have fitted to the SM300 on the left in your pic.

Check out a post I did a while back on another forum:
http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...mega-Seamaster-300-including-Military-watches

Pic.19 shows the watch I owned for a while and Pic.20 shows the watch illustrated in a 1964 Italian Omega catalogue.

Thank you - it was actually your post on TZ that inspired me to do this! I also have the 'correct' sword hands - I just think this looks better! Thanks for the post and the fantastic in depth research

Thanks and pleased that my post inspired your choice of hands - a good decision.

Here is mine. As new comer
Anyway. Bakelite bezel seem to me hard to complete my watch.

Anyone have an idea for that ?

Thank in advance
