So I got my father's vintage Seiko 5 back from service. Looks amazing. Not sure if it pairs well with a leather strap or a perlon. What do you guys think?

I’d not do a 2 stitch on it. But the brown leather color is nice. I love the brown except for the contrasting stitch. It dresses it down too much. Thickness looks right, it needs some thickness to balance and a padded would look odd.

Killer piece! Can you pm who did the work on it to me?

Nice I have a new old stock Lord Marvel Seiko which is completely oval. My dad had a 5 that I assume he used as a Hammer but it only needed a back Heres whats weird I gave it to him in early 90's and it has a quartz movement who know what happened to it. not in my rotation anyway. But your 5 is beautiful and rare

Yeah, it's kinda funny - if you told me "brown perlon on GP Seiko 5 TV watch" I'd be like: "Ewwwwww".

But when I saw the photo I'm like: "Sweet!!!!" Looks great.

The first one, brown leather, side return stitch: kill it with fire!!!
