Hello - my name is Steve and this was my fathers watch that I can across while going through his things recently. Just wanted a little history about when he might have obtained it or if the model (with the gold "dimpled" face) is rare or common. Also - with its condition (top surface/bezel wear and scratched crystal) is it refurbishable?
Thanks
Seems like the dial was repainted at some point, as it looks like an early-mid 1950s bumper automatic reference (2767 I think), which should say “automatic” on the dial beneath “omega”. Hands have also been replaced and crown.
It may not have a lot of collectors value but you should service and enjoy it nonetheless!
Not a 2627.
2767, not 2627
