Hello, I would like some help evaluating the value and the rarity of this vintage seamaster calender. It is 1955 Omega 2757 Seamaster Calendar solid 18K yellow gold. Pictures attached, any feedback is welcomed!

You’re likely to receive more feedback if you describe the steps you’ve taken to find answers to the questions posed - have you done a Google search of the reference number (2757) or searched OF threads for more information on the rarity of the model or looked at completed sales on eBay for a pricing reference?

Yes I did some google searches but I am sure there are experts that know more than a simple google search. From what I know, the 2757SC is among the very last bumper Seamasters and has a very short production run thus it is rare. How rare? I am not sure. The black dial has a tropical aging so it is more common, but I am not sure if black dials are common with this model.

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on rarity and nuances like whether it's the last bumper reference. Nobody cares about that. For valuation, just look at sales (not asking prices) of similar watches and condition. The black dial brings a premium, but the condition hurts the value. Ultimately, the value is what someone will pay you for it, and we can only give you a broad range.

2767 are quite uncommon if compared too other 50s Seamasters. Solid gold case with decent crispness is a plus but the bleeding text a negative imo.
My simple view on value: Early 50s SM range from 3-400 (decent condition eBay poor promoted through poor ad) to 4000 (pristine very rare dial, dealer list price).

Nice watch, I like these 353/355 references. I think the case is in pretty good shape. IMO this black dial doesn't add much or any extra value due to the fade, it's more grey/brown than black.

I find it tricky to value as it has a heavy gold case but that faded dial.....I'll say around €1500-€1600, but I could be way out.

Are you looking to buy or do you already own it?

If looking to buy it, what’s the asking price?

Just to add that I don't value ref 2757 higher due to a perceived rarity, if anything I'd say actually the other way around due to the 2627 having a more distinctive case shape which is prone to overpolishing finding one in good shape is actually quite the challange, although there are clearly more about.

Looks like the watch was sold on eBay last month for $4,750 (correction below, best offer accepted was $3K), so the OP might be the buyer.

Seems like a very high asking price. I hope the offer was lots less.

I just sorted sales by selling price, and it sold for at least $4500, which is nuts.
