I have the opportunity to buy an older Rolex Oyster Elegante for $1000. Unfortunately, my knowledge about these is quite small and I was hoping to get some thoughts from the forum's collective wisdom.
Pictures are attached. To my eye, the dial looks clean and original (though I would need to see it in person). The case looks vintage, obviously, but it appears to have genuine wear. I am wondering, however, about the originality of the hands.
I would need to take a closer look at the movement in person as the picture is slightly blurry, but from what I can decipher, it looks ok.
Any red flags jump out to anyone?
