Vintage Patek...

Back in September 2004 Justin Timberlake was growing up and becoming a man. He did a very famous spread in GQ magazine called "Birth of an Icon" He was wearing all kinds of classic clothes, drinking a guinness and trying to act cool... They took a photo of him in a pinstripe suit, wearing a watch... A 1968 Patek 3445 18k (white gold) This is the ACTUAL watch. I was fortunate enough to acquire it from the company that loaned it to him for the shoot. Thought I would share some pix with you all.... I guess the question is, did it make him look cool?

Back then I would have said no, he wasn't cool. But their prediction is turning out correct - he is becoming pretty famous and may very well be an icon.

However, you forgot a shot of the best part of that watch:

A Patek on a strap is cool no matter who wears it. Thankfully Justin Beiber wears a diamond encursted Rolex Day-Date which he refers to as "Polly the Rolly" and wouldn't know how many P's are in PP.

I don't know if I have a grail but a hand winding early 60's would be close.

I'll take a rose/pink gold hobnail case please! 👍 Auto or manual, doesn't matter.

Thanks for the kind words!

Yeah, I really liked the watch and could really care less that he wore it,
but it is a cool PP and the history is fun to have.

Dennis...
I LOVE the movement, thanks for the pix.
Believe it or not, I forgot to get shots when I had it
looked at last time.

SUPER forum!
