Hi all
I’m new to this forum and would really appreciate some information regarding my watch please.
I have owned this watch for several years but it has been stored away and I have only just found it again! It was originally passed down to me but I don’t have any other information.
I would be really grateful if someone could advise me on the approximate age, movement and whether the bracelet is original etc. I love watches but have very little knowledge so any information would be appreciated.
I’ve never had it serviced, but it appears to be running ok.
Many thanks

Greetings and welcome to the forum, I don’t know much about Omega but the design suggests it’s from the 1970s. (Or perhaps late 60s).
Even if it runs okay most people would advise to have it serviced for regular wear. Oils may have seized with depots of dust inside and forcing the movement with all the gunk may create long term damage.
best regards

Looks like the original bracelet and a cool 70's era Seamaster as Syrte said. However it may be missing it's bezel? Probably not impossible to find one if so.

For exact information of your watch you will have to open it and inside you will get the number of caliber, serial number (the first two digits will give you the year of production with approximation of 1-2 years) and inside the case back you will have the reference of the watch (or at least the case reference).

I believe the reference is 166.0203, with a cal 1010 or 1012 movement from the late 70s:

(The information at that link is likely incomplete)
The bracelet definitely looks genuine and correct for that reference. It should be an 1193. Could have been sold with it or added later. From the side photo, it looks like the bezel is there, but a bit hard to be sure.

Thanks so much for all the responses so far - this is really useful information! I may try and get it serviced (depending on cost as I haven’t got a clue!). The bezel does appear to be in place, assuming this is the very thin sliver ring around the crystal. Thanks again for everyone’s help.
