    hi,

I'm looking to buy I vintage omega pocket watch but my knowledge is pretty none existent. After removing any non uk sellers I've got a couple of potentials but really wanted some advice on whether these were genuine/ priced right.

Both from the same seller, both reported as in running condition. But by the time you add the cost of a thorough service (which is a good idea), you will have spent more than these watches are worth in my opinion. I paid the equivalent of $250.00 (US) for a high grade , 19-jewel, Omega (Louis Brandt grade CCR), railroad approved chronometer, several years ago. Same basic movement I suspect, but adjusted to 5-positions, heat, cold, and isochronism.

I'm no Omega expert but I'd pass on them both, to me that is a lot of money for a 15J unadjusted watch.
