Vintage Omega pocket watch - Help needed, please

Hello, everyone
I recently bought this vintage Omega pocket watch for my son.Would like to find out as much as possible about it and relay it to him so he knows what he has.Thank you very much in advance .

Silver PW. Movement looks nice. Serial number on the movement. Can search the date based off that. No dial image. That would have helped a bit

Movement caliber is underneath the balance, apparently ending with "5L". Probably 38.5L. Serial number gives 1946-47 IIRC, so pretty "modern" for a PW.

Is there something specific that you want to know? You can do some research of your own on the hallmarks if that's important to you.

Hi. No, nothing specific, just "more the better" approach.I checked the movement and it says 38.5L T1.Hope it's a good one.
