Posted for sale on eBay out of Argentina. Other than the refinished dial, what stands out as a red flag? Any and all comments are welcome!

The case has been polished quite a bit, obliterating the original angles and facets.

For me, the dial alone would be a dealbreaker. I couldn't tolerate it. The case isn't great, and I suspect that the crown and hands may be wrong for the watch as well. Sometimes a watch like this might seem to be a bargain, but after a short amount of time, you might feel that it's just wasted money, and it will be hard to sell.

It’s like saying “sure this cars been in a massive wreck, crabs down the road and is covered with filler to hide the damage but what else is wrong with it.

A redial is a dealbreaker as @Dan S says. No need for further assessment

Hands themselves don't look symetrical with the black stripe, either that was painted in poorly, or was bought cheaply/stamped.

Dial is bad, case is over polished, and crown is not original.

I would say the value is little more than the movement, but frankly, that is a little weird of a movement as well. The caliber stamp is a little... odd looking to me? And the 307 or 507 isn't a movement I could find any details/price on, so that is suspicious.

It's a 501 movement. Perfectly correct for a model 2846 like this.

As noted already, asking the OP question is a bit like the old gag "other than that Mrs Lincoln how was the play"

Ah! You're right, it is. Maybe it is the photo, but the font on the 501 is really weird looking too.

But yes, value of this isn't much more than an unknown bare movement.
