I get that Don but the name is now out in the collector world and things take on their own meaning. I can guarantee you that if someone is describing the watch above with a date function, it will be described as a Speedmaster Companion.

Same with the Seachero’s. Different collectors say they refer to different watches but ultimately as there’s no actual watch called a Seachero (just like there’s no actual Speedmaster Companion), there’s no universal agreement on what features make a watch a Seachero/Speedmaster Companion.
