    Hey,

    I am going to be one of those people and question whether a watch I purchased is legit, personally I think it is but what struck me is how clean and fresh the inside of the watch looks for a Vintage.

    would be great to hear your thoughts, it’s an Omega cal 269 ref number 121.001-63;

    please see the attached photo’s

    You can always apply dirt anywhere to make it look vintage......apart from that, looks good. Kind regards. Achim

    It’s a common misconception that if the dial and movement don’t have the requisite amount of wear with the outside of the case, there must be something fishy. But if the watch has solid caseback and crown seals, and wasn’t exposed to internal moisture- there is no reason it shouldn’t look factory fresh inside.

    Oh nice, makes sense, the only other watch (significant brand) I have I bought brand new from AD but this one I am still waiting for it to be shipped from online auction site, bought it yesterday. Looking for a new strap but I can’t buy until it’s gets here all I know is that the case is 33mm excluding crown.
