Hello my grandfather recently passed and I found this when we were clearing out his things. I took it to my jeweler and she is putting a new crystal and leather band on it for me. I have dug and dug and can’t figure out if it’s a sea master or a Geneve.

also how do I get the movement info or model number do I have to open up the back? Going to pick it up from the jeweler today and will post more info.

The picture from eBay is the closest one that I could find to mine. All help appreciated.

It's neither, just an Omega automatic.

Get some nice clear photos of the movement and inside the case back when you go to pick it up.

See attached for pictures I had him open it up while I was there. Any idea of year or any other info is appreciated and grateful for everyone’s help as I am ignorant to the watch scene.

Sorry - is your jeweler her or him?
I see your confusion haha. It’s a husband and wife team. She writes up the tickets he does the work. Unfortunately didn’t get a picture of the back side of the case. I got the movement as 351 and the serial number I ran on a website dated it at 1950. What more info is on the back?

What is the value of something like this I tried searching for a reference point but couldn’t find one. Not that I would entertain selling it ever. I honestly love it.

Looks original. It appears s/n on movement and caseback match. This should be in the vintage forum.
