Good Day Omega Community,

I have recently acquired the watch shown in the attached pictures. I tried to search online but with not too much information being found. On the Google photo search, it said based on the picture, the watch appears to be an Omega Disco Volante (Flying Saucer). From the serial number, it seems to be from the 1930's. It is a mechanical watch with a diameter that seems to be 45mm.

I do not have any papers or case or service history for the watch. I could not find any other information regarding this watch. The watch seems to be working fine and keeps time quite well. It is in decent condition but has minor scratches.

I would like to know if anyone on the forum knows about this watch. It does not seem to be a usual pocket watch, and it does not have any place for straps as well. I am also interested in what type of case it might have come in and maybe the estimated value of it. Any other information regarding the watch will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

This is a presentation case for a cal 26.5 and not a clock or watch. And it has nothing to do with a Disco Volante (flying saucer).
It is a nice collectible or paperweight.

This is a presentation case

I've seen photos of a few calibers in cases like this one in AJTT.

Would they have been for display at watchmaker exhibitions? Salesman's samples? Employee presentation pieces?
