    New member here, Hello everyone..

I have acquired the Omega De Ville Automatic in the pics below, and I do NOT want to try and open it, I believe it is a 2 piece stem, and last time I tried on of those, well.... it wasn't good

I did manage to get the crystal off and look at the inside on an angle using a loop, and did see omega on the movement, so looks legit to me, But wondering if anyone can tell me what model/caliber this watch is..

    Thanks in advance SAM_6242 (Small).JPG SAM_6243 (Small).JPG SAM_6244 (Small).JPG SAM_6245 (Small).JPG SAM_6246 (Small).JPG SAM_6247 (Small).JPG

Your watch is a De Ville from the "Deauville" line. These were created in 1973 and housed a calibre 684. I believe the reference number for your is 155.0006. If you do a google search you will find other examples, such as the one in this link

I would LOVE to try to open this again... Any tips

The 2 bars on top and bottom of back come off, crystal comes off, and then I need to separate the stem

I think the 2 locking bars slide out then the back can be taken off. I don't think you even hav to mess with the stem as there is a cut out for it in the case. Some one with more experience please correct me if I am wrong. Really wouldn't want to see the case messed up, on account of something I suggested.
