The case appears in good condition, but there is rubbing on the rotor/caseback, and what I believe is a redial for several reasons.

Also I think the price is pie in the sky. I could see 5 or 6k if this were all original and mint.

This is definitely a re-dial - and it looks like the case has been polished up quite a bit to me

The still-very-high (and apparently back on the rise) value of gold is making people overprice things, I suspect

Dial + case condition + movement condition puts me at "melt plus a touch". I don't have an idea how much melt value there is in that watch, but its value as a watch is minimal IMO.

I agree, but unfortunately I imagine some sucker will pay more thinking they’ve got themselves a genuine 18kt piepan.

$10k is very high even if it were not a redial.
