Hello everyone, I have opportunity to buy vintage omega deville, serial no. 1168233.
As far as I found on internet, these models are very old, and internet wasn't very helpful about that deville models.
However, i found one piece on net, selling in past, and that is exactly the same model that I have chance to buy.
I would appreciate every kind of help and recognition of model itself, especially about year of production, and also about mechanism, is it quartz powered, automatic or manual?
Thanks in advance.

here is the link where you can find the photos of deville

Hi Mlula,
I’m afraid I don’t know much about this model but, given that it’s a quartz model, I’m surprised that it is described as vintage.
The seller’s details and description, and the marketplace used, don’t inspire confidence either. The seller (although it describes the details as a translation) and who is based in USA, asserts that the watch has a diameter of '11.8 inches'.
With an asking price of £659, if I were in your shoes, I’d be more than a little hesitant.

Hi, thanks for info.
Thanks for reading the informations in link, 11.8 inches in diameter, haha. Yes, this marketplace and seller is not very conceivable.
I will try to insert some pictures of original watch that is offered to me, maybe then you or someone else can tell me something more.
I'm still wondering is thats watch mechanism quartz, automatic or manual powered?

thanks

In the absence of a movement photo, and given the detail on the caseback there’s a strong possibility that it’s a fake with a Japanese quartz movement.
But I’d have thought that you’d already have discovered that it’s a woman’s quartz watch.
I suggest you pass on it.

Hello Sir,
I have the watch mentioned in this thread. I bought it at a flea market and I wonder if the watch is original. I would appreciate your opinion.

Exactly the same serial number....what are the chances.

I think @Spruce has already answered your question.

It's just as fake as the original one posted in this thread.
