    Hello,

I have this vintage Omega but know nothing about his history. Can anyone share any information please on the model, year, value ect..

As yet I have been unable to locate an identical designed dial anywhere on the internet.

Any help or information would be greatly welcomed!

A photo of the back will likely confirm what I suspect.

Not what I expected to see. I have never seen lugs like that so I expected the usual case back markings of a fake. At this point, I would wait for one of the more knowledgeable members to add their thoughts.
Do you have a photo of the movement? Tell us where you got it.

    Thank you anyway.
I have not had the back opened up yet - I shall visit a professional to do so soon. Once I have a photo I will share on here.

Fake or badly washed or very badly repainted dial. Case is either a plated fake or possibly a local gold case ie French or British made but as noted it isn't one that is seen regularly that is for sure. Value? Not a lot if plated and fake, gold value plus if a gold case, but probably not plus a lot unless the movement is something special. Not one to get too excited about either way.

It is a totally legit Omega with a washed dial (cleaned clumsily or similar)

    Has a cal 28 (360) inside

Somebody forgot to repaint the dial after erasing it. ;-)

(Or maybe I should say that they forgot to finish the job.)

Is that what it is? Thanks, I was rather confused about how it could be a 30T2 with 17 jewels with that serial. There is some obvious water damage there. Not good!

Case was made by Genevor SA based in Meyrin (Geneva) and imported into the UK (has London Assay Office import stamp).
I can't make out the Sponsor stamp or the assay office date stamp though

It has not got a specific name.

It is a reference OT 2408 with calibre 28 (aka 360)

you can search by these specs

The 11million serial number would place it in the late fourties.
