Bah humbug.

A moonphase is just another complication to fail, and a pita to set.::stirthepot::

Dial clutter...... just dial clutter. 😁

... I tend to think of them as menstrual calendars ... 😒 ::psy::

I love that you pointed this out! It would be such a useful complication to track that.

I recommend the mysterious Trematic (sometimes branded Keystone). Below $1000 (sometimes well below), 37mm, stainless steel, Roman numerals, nice Bidynator movement, most in terrific condition... probably from a cache of watches that never made it to market, or put together Watchco-style from NOS parts, thus the mystery and reasonable price.

Gave this one away to a longtime collector friend. Since it was a gift, I cannot regret that I let it go 😀

Dayum! Can I be your friend too?

"Two snaps up in a circle!" 👍

Marc / @MMMD - PM me some info about that if you get a chance. I might want to pick up one for myself.

Got me a Keystone branded version based on @MMMD 's recommendation. He failed to mention the awesome lugs! 🥰 Truly great value for a starter piece!

sometimes you may have luck to search the treasure in ebay, and all the good stuff is by chance!

i bought three Movado with 2 years, the left one cost around US350, the right Tiffany Movado is about the same, what the hell the middle one, all original included the strap and buckle just for 800 euro, all come in excellent conditions and original dial!

The moonphase is exactly like what I hope to find.

the suggest price i found in chrono24.com with same condition is asking US 2-2.5K , and AU2500 in ebay with refinish dial, after-market strap and buckle, this one is from France only 800 Euro included p&p.

my watchmaker advice me that, the general market of this kind of moonphase watch is relatively small compare with the Rolex, Panerai... the re-sell value is low, unless you find one, like me, keen on searching on those stuff!

Asking is $2500 but accepts offers. If it was cheap and I was a buyer I'd be on it. I saw enough interest in this thread to at least figure it'd be of interest to a few of the crew here. Watch seems to be located in Greece...

These are great watches, nice, smooth and easy to use Bidynator movement inside. I nabbed one just like it off a guy on WUS last year, and I’ve been very pleased!
