OK, so the clear out of my unworn pieces continues with this vintage Grand Seiko.

I bought this because the case was in such amazing condition as can be seen in the photo’s below and it is also quite an unusual variant in the GS line up, hence the special on the dial. Some background on the 6155 can be found here https://thegrandseikoguy.com/product/grand-seiko-6155-8000/

The high-beat movement is purring along nicely and the quickset date works as it should. I do remember this being serviced a while ago and it was keeping accurate time but not likely at the -3/+3s it was built to from the factory. Though I do not have any paperwork for the service and it has been sitting at the bottom of my watchbox without a strap for a couple of years.

The case width is 36mm and it really is a delight, a few hairline scratches but nothing major and the brushing below and above the dial is all still there. The medallion on the caseback is all there, in good condition and the crystal is clear.

And the dial is what it is, I have shown it as clearly as I possibly can in the pictures below and it looks better in the hand than the high res photo’s.

Asking US$700 by transferwise (or equivalent in other currencies) add 8% for paypal and I will cover shipping fees by Fedex. The watch and I are in Hong Kong and I have a few references on the sellers profiles and reviews threads, feel free to drop me a pm with any questions or offers.

Many thanks to the mods for these awesome forums and now for the photo’s.

Decided to put a strap on it and wear it for a while. It gained about 7 seconds over 24 hours, also got it opened up for a movement photo
