Vintage Gold De Ville?

I bought this watch for my wife around 1985, I think. I took the watch into the Omega boutique here in Melbourne and they told me the movement is quartz and its number is 1387 and the case number is 944. They also told me it's worth AUD 30,000 because it's solid gold! I'm looking for some more information on when it was made and whether it is a de Ville. If so, what other descriptor might it have. I've added some photos. Can anyone help?

Did you buy it new or used?
At the risk of stating the obvious, if it was new it was made in the early 80’s. If used I’d say late 70’s.

If it was a DeVille I believe it would say so.

Unfortunately the value is way off. Due to sky high gold prices and low demand for vintage ladies watches, the value is at or very slightly over the gold value.

On the positive side it's gold and it has what is presumably a very small diamond as a 12 o/c marker.

On the negative side it is a ladies watch, its a quartz movement and it's something that collectors have little interest in.

As David says 30,000 AUD is way off. It's worth it's weight (minus the movement) in gold and that's about it.

Yes, even for Melbourne Ω Boutique, maybe it was after lunch when the valuation was made.
