    Dear OF members,

For sale is my vintage Glycine Airman which is probably the brand's most iconic watch. None of these photographs are edited in any way.

Case: All stainless steel. Never polished. All edges are sharp. Case has minor scratches as seen in pictures but overall excellent.
Dimensions: Approx. 36,3 mm (excluding crown). 39,6 mm including crown.Lug to lug approx. 45,3 mm.
Dial: All original and untouched dial. All the lume plots are still intact. All the little scuffs are on the crystal and not on the dial.
Hands: All original and untouched hands set. Lume plots are still intact. Hands lume are slightly brighter than the dial lume plots (it aged naturally this way and nothing was touched up.)
    Movement: AS 1902
    Crown: Correct hatched crown
    Crystal: Original with some scratches
    Strap: Not included
Service: Unknown service history so it would need a service. Crown functions correctly. Time and date works properly. Bezel locking mechanism functions properly. Hacking mechanism at 24 o'clock is fully working.
    Serial Number: 9403XXX

Overall, this is a top condition vintage Glycine Airman. Asking price is US$ 1,650 net to me (or best offer). Payment via bank wire or PayPal. Watch is in Chicago and I will let you decide which shipping option/declare value/insurance. I can provide references upon request. I will accept return if item is not as described.

Great watch and pics but no mention of the hacking mechanism, is it fully functional?
Cheers and GLWS on this fine Airman example.

Depends what movement it is, not all have the hacking wire. Looking at the photos there is a hole for the hacking wire.

The A. Schild 2163 had a built in hacking mechanism IIRC.
    Very nice Airman.
    GLWS.

Thanks for the heads up gentlemen -- I just checked and the hacking mechanism is indeed fully functioning. The watch is fully functional (time, date, hacking, and bezel locking).

I don't have the tools to open the caseback so I cannot tell which AS movement it is. However, I will do that my next trip to the watchmaker.

Thanks @Tubber and @1685 for checking about the hacking mechanism. I completely forgot the hacking technology was made at 24 o'clock and I was quick to assume that it didn't have the hacking feature when I pulled out the crown and the sweeping is still moving. Always learning! :)
