Yeah, but to be honest, for a moment I was excited to back out 馃榾

Some sellers list things to multiple places, seems natural, they also sell watches in their own shops too, so something you buy could always get cancelled, I originally thought, with the timing and all (Micheal bought from eBay on 9th, I from Yahoo Auctions on 16th, a week in between) - I thought the seller listed on eBay for one amount, and set an auction on Yahoo Auctions on another amount, the eBay sold, and he forgot to cancel the Yahoo one - but turns out it wasn't the case

Anyway, since the price was higher than I expected, it would further devastate me 馃榾

Sellers on ebay are making money by reselling products without inventory, avoiding the risk of having their own inventory.
I once sold an Omega Marui Limited Edition Speedmaster on Yahoo Auction, but it was sold on eBay at a higher price than Yahoo Auction with the same photos and English translation of the description.

There's also the reverse, some sellers resell eBay auction on Yahoo 馃榿

This watch is somehow coming from overseas to Japan: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c881938648 - I wonder if it's a repost from somewhere else, awesome watch tho

I once knowingly bought a re-dial that I knew was coming to Japan from overseas, no idea where it came from, the watch above could also have a similar story, I couldn't see a yellow second hand when I googled the possible model, so maybe they are coming to Japan from a paint shop overseas

I don't mind reselling, but I don't want you to sell without inventory because it might cause problems for the buyer.

Selling without inventory does one thing though: it reduces storage costs. 馃榾

This seems to occur frequently with Japanese sellers. Even on eBay you can see multiple sellers listing the same watch for different prices. I think they often see it available in stores locally or on Yahoo Japan auctions and hope to use the eBay buyers money to purchase the watch and ship before the watch is sold to another party.

It does make you think that these watches must be a fair amount cheaper on the local Japanese economy for this to be profitable after eBay, shipping, Japanese taxes, and PayPal fees.
