Best is, the guy is selling something totally relying on someone else’s appraisal, description and photographs. 🤦
Note this might appear new online but it’s nothing new in real life. I have watches proposed to me by « dealers » on a regular basis. Quite often, by asking a couple of questions, you realize that the guy doesn’t own the piece yet and is looking for the money he can make with that watch, before he actually buys it from his customer... often those guys have no more clue about what they try to sell than the two we’re talking about here. 🤮
The more I think about this the less believable it is. Surely this would only make sense when the reseller was listing a watch that was elsewhere at a fixed price. Isn’t it more likely that @michael e‘s seller and the yahoo seller are one and the same ?
