Here's a couple from June, both were shot with a Nikon F Photomic FTN, Nikkor 50mm F/1.4 and Kentmere 400!

These days I'm slowly but surely frying my brain at work... So I tried new things in my old hobby, photography. I unearthed some large format gear, and tried caffenol to be able to process at home without having to handle too many problematic chemicals.

Still testing, but I had a blast! 😀 Tried 4x5 for the 1st time, with film and direct positive paper.
Waiting for some parts to complete a small 4x5 enlarger... Lots of of fun to be had. Maybe I will try to get better than my crown/speed graphic combo... (Linhof? Cool looking, but what a minefield)

Well, it turns out that caffenol is quite use able with rc paper, with some precautions. And my setup works 😀
Here is my 1st try:

(hard to give a good idea of the print, a phone cam has either too much contrast, or not enough)

You all are way more advanced than I am, but I do like shooting film!

Here are some shots from the last year, a variety of 35mm shot on my Canon Ae1p, Canon Sure Shot Zoom XL and Minox GL ☺️

This week end I biked around with a tripod and a 4x5, playing with direct positive paper / caffenol...

Still curly, flattening the paper with a big book and a glass plate.

Back to work, after busy vacations...

Here are scanned 4x5 direct positive prints with caffenol, to get the hang of it : scanning these give some results, surprisingly. I also have a 6x12 roll to be developed and printed, some 4x5, some cams to adapt for my new toy... 😲 where will I find the time.
