Still have it and still pondering what to do with it... Leans towards full internal service and then left alone - and used on a NATO strap or Tropic rubber - without bezel a la Brando/Apocalypse now.

So molested - but still such a nice unpolished case.

That is such a magnificent piece! I call DIBS before someone else does 😀

You need a faded bezel for it, though. IMO

Is that so? I counted to at least a dozen bezels in your parade above. So what does that make you then? 😁

Worn hard before you got it !
Treat it like it has been.

Started up my old laptop and found pics of a watch I used to own - 10 years ago. Funny, cheap, divers watch with nice dome plexi. Reason enough to bump this ol´thread...

I really like seeing all the cool vintage divers here...thanks for posting the pics! 👍

I only have one vintage diver...and it just became vintage last month (DEC16) when it hit its 30 year mark regarding date of manufacture which was DEC86. 30 years is the accepted age regarding vintage, correct?

I purchased my beloved 6309-7049 new in OCT87 at the NAS Whiting Field Navy Exchange while I was in Navy pilot training. It was my first "flying watch". I still have the original box and papers...but the original rubber strap is long gone.

Pictured below, my 6309-7049 is getting ready to go flying tomorrow (again)...it's a good flying watch...and has been a good flying watch for 30 years. 👍

@Mad Dog.......Very cool that you vintage-ized this one yourself! Makes it even better than a bought one IMO. Plus, yours has the rare distinction of being a frequent flyer (pun intended) at both Dunkin' Donuts AND Hooters! If only patina could talk!

A recent post got me thinking about why a lot of us enjoy vintage dive watches, even if we are not taking them deep. I definitely don't wear any of my vintage watches when I dive, but love wearing them for most daily uses. Here are a few that I have seen that I like (wearing the Enicar today) . I know that a lot of you guys have some great ones as well.
I think i am starting to fall in love with vintage Enicar. Have to research the brand but I have not seen one that I don't like!

I bought this in Berlin, 1972. East German pin-lever movement - but a great look, I think.
