Hello guys

I have been given this Omega DeVille Chronograph Ref: 145.017 and i am looking to sell it to help fund tuition fees.

Can anyone help regarding how much it should cost? I was unable to find anything simlair with Tropical Dial, and Box from this period and it seems to be a bit of a one of kind type of watches.

No service history, but the watch seems to run smoothly.

Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards

Your best bet is to just post it on eBay as a no reserve auction, there are enough Omega collectors constantly searching for watches there that it will achieve about market value.

We don't allow sales listings here for members under 200 posts.

Many of the blue dials turn ‘tropical’ on these. Unlike with some watches, tropical is a negative on value here.
Depends on bay country you’re in but I’d say around £1500. Maybe a touch more.

My advice is to invest a bit (time or money) in some clear photo's. People want to know what they buy. Try to get the caseback open with help from a watchmaker and make photo's of the movement. You can try to sell it here as well, if you ever reach the almost impossible goal of 200 posts (thats required to post ads).
