Just found this in my late mother in laws belongings. Belonged to her late husband who died in 1964. Can’t find any photos online to date it.. Any one have an idea?

I’m not well versed in these, so wait for others to chime in. As far as i know, the watch is definitely from the 1950’s. If you visit a watchmaker, they can open the case and the information inside can give you what you need.

The inner caseback will have the model reference number and the serial number on the mechanism can help approximately date the watch.

Sorry for your loss.
The watch looks like a 2852 with a really clean domed dial. Will likely have a 501/505 movement inside. The serial number on the movement inside will help with dating the watch, but it was likely from the 50s.

Could also be 2652 with 354 Bumper?? Here’s my gold cap 1954 looks very similar

2652 has a screw-down caseback. Could actually be a 2782 if it has a bumper movement.

Thanks everyone for the replies. What type of person am I looking for to work on this? I will not attempt to remove the cover.

Yeah, I thought it was a Rolex rivet bracelet. It's legit. The reference number of the bracelet may be on the back of the last link before the end link, maybe 7205. Looks like it has 17mm endlinks, which are too narrow for the watch. The bracelet will probably fund a service for the watch.
