Vintage Certina Crown question

Hello fellow Certinaddicts

I've been browsing the web for a while now in search of vintage Certinas, especially DS2 and DS, affordable and amazing watches.
I have a question about the Certina DS i'm hoping to get an answer on this very forum. Here it is :

The genuine Certina DS Crown seems to be be that rather discreet "domed" crown as seen on that picture

as I looked in the Certina Spare Parts Catalog, the Crown number 60 seems to corespond to the usual DS references 56-012 and 58-012.

The thing is : so many DS I find ebay or other website seem to have a crown that resembles more of that of the DS2. See on picture below on one of my DS.

Do you have any info on that ? Are all the DS watches with that kind of "bulkier" crown not correct ? or should i say franken ? Honestly i'm amazed by how many DS watches on sale have that very kind od Crown, and not the smaller one.

Fyi that catalog seems to have been printed before the DS2 was released. The crown number 41 looks a lot like the opne above, but the one above is 5.5mm and not 4.5mm.

Thanks a lot !!
