Hi! How about your vintage Heuer Carreras? Not too many to be seen here on the forum so far... I'll start here with my first Carrera, it's a 3647, later first execution serial 72XXX Let's see yours!
One of my first love, I didn't buy one 10 years ago now it is too late... good luck finding an affordable good one. The 1996 reissue is nice though (nothing like their modern autavia monstrosity), and feels vintage : same size, tritium dial, and it is more than 20 years old already. Time flies!
My old 3647S which has since moved to pastures new. Regret selling this one somewhat and hopefully a black dial will make its way to my collection in the future.

Looking at the examples above, it looks to me like Carerras were either not polished that much or maybe made of harder steel. Either way, some very sharp edges on display
