This is what my father used to say to me. He also use to say you could pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can’t pick your friend’s nose.

You have an approximate movement date now and the fact that the case has none of the traditional Omega markings could mean that it's a local production case.

Uncased Omega movements were shipped to many countries to be assembled into cases made by local case makers.

What country are you in?
Do you know of the history of the watch?
Thanks for that info.

I'm in Canada and have no knowledge of its history.
