Seems I will be in good company here though. I'm in my middle thirties with a wife of 16 years and two boys 11 and 8. I like anything mechanical, firearms, history, and all kind of watches.

Enough about me

Hiiii Curtis! Well, the first step of dealing with the problem admitting you have a problem. And I agree with @Canuck - lean into it. You are missing a Speedmaster.

Do you come home at night? Is there food on the table? Do the kids have clean clothes? Are your tires bald?

If you answered yes, yes, yes and no, then you don't have an Omega problem.

And let鈥檚 not forget.... do you spend time with your wife and kids 馃槈

and if the answer is also yes to the latter .... The main problem is you need better lighting on those pictures

Thanks all, I've never been able to figure out lighting for pictures. I should spend a little time looking it up.

I'll get some more pics of the chronometer when I get home.

Ok, I have reviewed the above referenced thread, and have taken baby steps. Hopefully in the right direction...

Outdoor pics in indirect light, taken from father away. Light was fading, but I tried.

The chronometer is a ref 168.023, cal. 751, that is a recent local find. It seems to have it's fair share of admirers, and the sparkle dial functions almost like those blingy back pockets on women's jeans. 馃槈

I'll always be open to any speedmaster donations to the cause. 馃榾

Unfortunately I can't seem to ever get enough cash in my watch fund to buy one. I guess I did have an automatic reduced at one time but, for me, it wasnt the same.

While I'm at it I'll put up some pics of my other watches. Forgive the indoor lighting and quick dirty pics, they're what I have on my phone.

First some military stuff...
