sorry if i'm raking up old ground , but i'm struggling to find answers.
for bracelet/strap 1039 and 7912, are they the same bracelet but with different clasp's ?
Omega boutique tell me this is the case but i'm unsure,
i'm trying to get hold of either to fit my speedmaster moonwatch which is from early 90's
i want to give it a more vintage look
are these bracelets available to buy still from omega or are they long dead ?

Did you ask the OB if they were available?

 

yes i did, they have no idea what i'm talking about, told me the ref 1039 and 7912 and 1506 can't be found on the OB system, all they can do is trace from my serial number the strap my watch came with, which i already have !

 

The end link sizes are the same.

i'm looking to buy either a 7912 1039 or 1506 to retro-fit but need to check sizes, my wrist is 22cms approx, not sure if it will fit my wrist

 

The bracelets are very different, not just the clasp, and they are most definitely not available from Omega anymore.

 

1039 fits 20mm Lugs
1506 fits 20mm Lugs (I’ve seen two different clasps)
7912 fits 18mm and 19mm Lugs (need different end links)
