    Hi

Sorry , but not a combination that works for me....try a nato , tropic , Sharkskin or an original Semi-expandable bracelet.

While they are nice straps (first one is very noice) they don't suit that watch.

    It needs a mesh.

Or to match it's looks as a vintage tool watch, a suitably dirty distressed NATO.

This beauty of yours will go with virtually anything. However, I would prefer a black leather-band or a genuine shark-skin.

    Thank-you.

Nay. Maybe an orange Isofrane if you want some color?

A bit strident in my opinion. The general color would work, but needs to be toned down just a notch or two

Not my thing but wear whatever makes you happy. If you're looking for a correct bracelet, Flame has a 1039 for sale at the moment. Highly recommended seller.

Usually black & orange is fine by me, but something just doesn't look right about that combo. Maybe if there was some orange on the dial & bezel it would look better. A black strap with beige stitch (to match the numbers' patina) might be really cool.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I agree that something is off with the combo. I do have the original steel bracelet and a few NATOs (which is what I mainly use). I was looking for something different, a bit dressier. I'll probably keep it on my NATO for now.

I figured the watch is a '64, would you agree?

    I don't know. I don't have tools to unscrew the caseback...yet.

A cheap sticky ball may be the best first attempt, no risk of damage.

As long as there isn't any enamel on a caseback medallion.
