Mr.Bliss
·Hi folks,
Selling my lovely Seiko Ref 6105-8110 from 1976.
Seiko's 3rd generation of divers, following the 6217 (62mas and the slimmer 6105-8000/9)
An iconic watch from the 70's- made famous after being featured on Martin Sheen's (Captain Benjamin Willard) wrist in 1979 "Apocalypse Now".
The 6105 was very popular with the US military during the Vietnam era being exceptionally built, on par with other hi-end divers of the time.
All parts made in-house by Seiko.
Beautifully curved 44mm case, no pits or deep scratches. No signs of any polishing. Both top and bottom of the case are brushed, the top secular brushed and back straight, all clearly very visible.
Dial is immaculate with a bit of patina on the markers and hands.
Case back with no deep grooves, serial number clearly visible.
4mm scratch free Hardlex crystal
The second hand has been replaced with an original replacement, a small chip on the bezel around the 43 minute mark and for some reason the crown lock won't lock.
Manufactured between-1970-1977
