·Dear forum friends,
A bit of rare piece, a 1972 Giroxa, made for the Olympics in Munich, Germany.
The star of the show is the dial of course, with both the Olympic rings at 12 and the Munich Olympics’ “Bright Sun” Otl Alps design.
This was a watch made for the Olympics, and it came initially with different interchangeable bezels. The one on display here is a football timer bezel in black, which suits quite nicely the watch.
The 39mm case is a single plastic one, and Im not sure how the movement is meant to be accessed. It is hand wound, and keeps good time.
Watch and I are in New York. Shipping at charge of the buyer!
Thank you
