·Today I am offering another of my Omega Geneve's. Including this one 4 remain in my collection.
Another from the first series, this time a 34mm reference 2754 dating to 1954.
The condition of this one really is spectacular, and I am in two minds whether to sell it, but with 30+ watches in my collection I am trying to list a couple with the hope that at least a couple might grab some interest so I can work towards halving my collection. I'll let the pics do the taking but by the looks of it, this has had very little use indeed.
Dial: As you can see for a watch that is 67 years old, this dial is fantastic, there appears to be no damage, however at certain angles there is a faint patina spotting. This model is famous for its triangular indices and two-tone cross haired dial. It is what I fell in love with when I started this hobby and what kept me coming back for more - pure class. All hands appear to be original.
Case: Like the dial, the case is superb. sharp and unpolished. All chamfers are clearly in tact and sharp. It measure approximately 34mm in diameter without crown. Crown appears to be original.
Movement: This watch has been in my possession for around 6 months and the 266 calibre movement is running well. It has not been serviced during my ownership so I recommend that the buyer has the watch serviced, although this is of course up to your discretion. The movement received acclaim at the Geneva observatory after winning awards for its accuracy and hence why this line was created in honour of this achievement.
Strap: This case fits 18mm wide straps and will be supplied on the genuine leather vintage strap pictured by Hirsch. I think it beautifully suits the watch by closely matching the applied indices. The texture too is similar to something that may have been used during the 1950s. This particular strap is nice and thin and is called "saddle leather".
Box/papers: No box. No papers.
Please observe all photos and the description with care as I offer no returns.
