·Vintage 1954 38mm Omega Honeycomb Dial, Cal 266
These ‘Extra Large’ case Omegas are becoming increasingly difficult to source, in this condition
Omega Cal 266, from 1954 - One of the finest ‘in house’ watch movements ever conceived.
The case is in exceptional condition, - No dents, no scratches, and no ‘over polishing’.
At 38 mm - Excluding the original Omega winding crown, - This 1954 Omega wears ‘large’ on the wrist creating
superb visual impact, nearly 60 years after its original manufacture. - Many contemporary watches were barely 30 - 32mm.
The original ‘Honeycomb Dial’ has been restored.
Arabic numerals, Gold hour markers, & ‘Dauphine Hands’ - Classic ‘period elegance’, & a timeless style
Full service executed, in February 2014, by my own Watchmaker - The movement keeps very accurate time. with a strong power reserve.
Watch head is accompanied by a brand new, hand-made, quality brown calf skin leather strap, with original Omega buckle in stainless steel.
