Looking to sell a really cool Hamilton from the 1950s. The K-454/Sputnik was manufactured from 1955-7 and was featured in the show Mad Men (the K-454 was worn by Pete Campbell).

The watch features a unique dial and fancy lugs. I was able to source a NOS dial from Mark at vintagehamilton.com (at a cost of $200).

Inside is an automatic grade 661 movement that I had serviced about a year and a half ago (service receipt will be included). 10k yellow gold filled case and stainless steel back.

The case measures ~34mm not including the crown.

Pictured band is included.

Price: $475 USD (net) plus shipping, or F2F in Vancouver.

A number of expressions of interest but still available.
Could do a package deal for the Sputnik and the vintage Tissot that I also have for sale.

How has this not sold yet? If I weren't trying to sell about 100 watches, I'd be all over this. But I know the feeling, when you collect vintage watches. You search for a specific model in nice condition for years. Then you find it, enjoy it for a while. You go to sell it, and no one else has that same appreciation?
